Well, Hello Again!

It’s great to be here with you on The New Nash 94.1 FM, playing the music we all love. There’s no other format that relates to the lives we live through every phase and age. No matter who you are or where you come from, there’s something here that connects to you!

Although, I started my radio career in Lexington after graduating from the University of Kentucky, I have spent most of that career doing mornings in Country radio right here in the Queen City! As a military brat, I grew up all over the country, but put down deep roots here after marrying a Cincinnati boy and having a couple of kids.

I convinced him to leave his beloved Eastside for the Westside ( Woo Hoo) and yes even, Westsiders don’t get it, but we love the beautiful neighborhoods, long held traditions and the fact that there’s 20 ways to reach downtown!

Our spunky, bird loving daughter Athena is almost 13 years old and I am scared out of my mind. I’m convinced that I will remain that way for the next 4 years or so. Parker is 5 and such a little bundle of energy and affection, we feel blessed - and exhausted by him- every day.

Pets? Of course! Too Many? Right again. At last count 2 rescue dogs, 1 cat that rescued us, and a Parrot that talks too much.

My life is full and I love my family, but truth be told? I miss my girlfriends, cocktails, and manicures since I had kids and spend way too much time in the kitchen! When I get a chance to re-connect, I grab it!  It’s so important if you want to be good mom and wife, to stay a complete person too. It’s all a balance act that we try to master and I bet there’s a country song for that too!

Professionally, I’ve been known to do some Television or Print work on the side. I filmed my first television commercial when I was 9 years old, and have never quite put it down. It’s fun and I will probably keep doing it until it isn’t or I break the camera and they ask me to stop which is how my singing career ended.

Life is always full of surprises, good and bad, and that’s what keeps me going! Can’t wait to see you again at our next event! Let’s have a beverage sometime, listen to some good music and catch up! I sure missed you.
